It doesn’t happen always that Tollywood meets Hollywood. But it happened when James Cameron met Priyadarshan, while the latter was shooting for his upcoming Malayalam film ‘Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P. Madhavan Nairum’ in Abu Dhabi.
After visiting the sets of the movie, Cameron was really impressed with Priyadarshan and his way of working with very limited staff.
Cameron was in town for the 2011 Abu Dhabi Media Summit where he was invited to speak about 3D technology. Cameron and Priyadarshan were staying in same hotel and when the two met, Priyadarshan invited him on his sets.
We also here that after seeing Cameron on their set, cast and crew of the film were very excited, rather even Priyadarshan didn’t hesitate to take Cameron’s advice on making Hindi 3D film; he also learnt the art of shooting the film directly in 3D format to get rid of the post production difficulties.
